Kristen Cunningham-The Ohio State University
Chelsea Deffenbaugh-The Ohio State University
Arica Hauger- University of Cincinnati
Hauger was a 2 year varsity letter winner in 2008 and 2009, a JV captain in 2008, and a varsity participant during her 2010 senior campaign due to a career-ending knee surgery. Hauger is a pharmacy major at the University of Cincinnati.
Anna-Jane Jenkins- Utah Valley University
Jenkins was a 2 year varsity letter winner at OOHS. She was named “Most Improved Player” by her teammates as a junior. In addition to her contributions on the soccer field, Jenkins was a captain, district, and regional qualifier on the OOHS track team. Jenkins is an elementary education major at Utah Valley University.
Lauren Juttner- University of Mount Union
Juttner was a starter in each of her three seasons at Olentangy Orange and was a two-time Team MVP selection in 2009 and 2010. During her junior year she received 1st Team All-OCC, and 2nd Team All-District recognition. In her senior campaign, Juttner served as team captain and was a 1st Team All-OCC selection, and received the Dispatch Scholar Athlete award.
Juttner is a member of the women’s soccer team at the University of Mount Union where she is a Psychology major.
THE CLASS OF 2010
Lauren Jay-Denison University
Jay was a 4- year high school soccer letter winner at both OHS and OOHS. A standout from the beginning of her prolific high school career, she earned 2nd Team All-OCC honors as a freshman at Olentangy High School.
In her two seasons at Olentangy Orange, Jay served as a team captain, leading her team to the Central District Finals as a junior, when she received 1st Team All-OCC, and OCC Co-Player of the Year honors. In addition, she was named 1st Team All Central District, was a member of the This Week News “Super 12 Team,” and was a Columbus Dispatch Player of the Week. Jay was the first Team MVP in 2008. In her senior campaign, Jay was a 2nd Team All-OCC selection.
Jay is a biology major and pre-med student at Denison University in Granville, Ohio. She is a member of the Denison women’s soccer team, who was the 2010 NCAC Tournament Champion and reached the Final Elite Eight in the 2010 NCAA Div III Women's Soccer Championship.
Taylor Kerkhoff-The Ohio State University
Kaitlyn Pearse- Marietta College
Pearse was the starting goalkeeper her junior and senior seasons at Orange. Pearse is an early childhood education major at Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio where she is a member of the women’s soccer team.
Hannah Pfau-Taylor University
Mackenzie Schmidt - Salem College
Schmidt was a 1st Team All-OCC and 2nd Team Central District honors as a junior. In her senior campaign, Schmidt was a tri-captain and selected to participate in the Central Ohio Soccer Coach's Association senior showcase. Schmidt is playing collegiately at Salem College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where she is double majoring in elementary education and nonprofit management.
